Ria Gala Mangal is a mother of 3 boys living in Mumbai, a tarot card reader, a law post-graduate and works with her husband in his business of export of natural stones. She has a very special childbirth story, one filled with amazing and intriguing coincidences.

Childbirth is a memorable event for every mother, but what makes Ria’s story so unique and wonderful.

Ria, who hails from Jabalpur, gave birth to her first child Shaurya with husband, Tushar Mangal on the December 9, 2013. After their son turned 2 years old, they planned to have another child. As a couple, they were not hoping for anything in particular, just expecting to be parents to another child.

About 3 or 4 weeks into her second pregnancy, Ria found out she was carrying twins! Ria had always been curious and intrigued about twins  so it was a pleasant surprise for her.

And so the string of coincidences began……

Ria was consulting the same gynecologist whom she consulted during her first pregnancy. When the time for the delivery approached, Ria found out that this time too, like the first, she will have to go for C-section for delivering the twins.

It was purely luck-by-chance that she was given the same room at the hospital as the one during her previous pregnancy. And not only that, she later found out that the same team of nurses were going to look after her this time too!

As the months passed by, Ria was called in, in the 1st week of December for a C-sectional delivery due to a minor complication. Ria passed her days in considerable excitement and happiness. But as the first week of December arrived, her elder son fell ill. She was due that week itself and was bit worried as her elder son was not keeping well. She and her husband decided to wait for a while before going for the delivery, it seemed like suddenly too much was happening.   And it just so happened that Ria developed contractions on the night of December 8th.

On the morning of December 9th, 2016 the day of her elder son’s birthday, Ria gave birth to her beautiful twins, in the same hospital, under the same gynecologist, close to the birth-time of her first son!

And guess what?! Both the twins turned out to be boys too! And to top it all off, all 3 boys have the same blood group too!

These coincidences in the birth of the boys and the other parameters around their birth were so fascinating and miraculous, Ria got an idea to share this with Limca Book of Records.

While sending the details to them they had no idea that this could be considered a legit ‘record’ that could be accepted by Limca Book of Records. The verification procedure was quite a lengthy one; it lasted three months! But once verification and other procedures were done, Limca had sent them a certificate – they had made a national record!”

Ria feels that things can become overwhelming at times, to look after three growing boys! There are times when she gets exhausted and sleep-deprived, but keeping patience and having a positive frame of mind helps her sail smoothly during tough hours.
