I don't think I'll be ready for motherhood till I'm 30

There is a general guideline in the age when a woman should get pregnant. However Indian society forces women to get married at an early age and hence there are early pregnancies. I see lot of my batch mates delivering babies already. I don't think I'll be ready for it at least till I'm 30. Is there anything wrong in that?

Hi There!

The simple and honest answer to that? No, nothing wrong with that. You are entitled your opinions and beliefs and if it works well for your life situation you shouldn't worry about what others (batchmates/"society") around you are saying or doing.

Good luck!
Aarathi.
