Unlike a few decades ago, people are now willing to try new things in the bedroom and, don’t shy away from turning to sex paraphernalia.

Selling sex toys in the shape of phalluses, vacuum-based ‘suck’ vibrators or the more ‘intelligent’ AI vibrators, the women’s sex toy industry has indeed come a long way. Online e-commerce portals have started carrying these products under the women’s health & wellness category, in an attempt to ‘normalize’ the shopping experience. While it is better for some; to be able to shop for sex merchandise online; some others, question the quality of products being sold online.

Sexual health is an important part of the emotional, as well as, physical well-being of an individual. Be it men or women, sexual health is instrumental in reducing stress and ensuring overall health. That is the gambit being employed by sex toy stores online to lure customers. By destigmatizing the shopping experience, online adult stores are selling sex toys under the women’s health & wellness category.

Maybe it is a strategy to hook customers or a genuine effort to make shopping for sex merchandise a hassle-free, easy process. For now, women have taken to the opportunity to indulge in some self-love and sexual experimentation with aplomb. What one can gather from this is that, the sex toy market for women grows every day and is here to stay, empowering women to explore and experiment and indulge.
